We tried this, it doesn't hold. Kids play it for one or two rounds then start shooting the bird at random spots for fun, then give up. Angry Birds works as a side-scrolling game where you can appreciate watching structures crumble on the same visual plane as the birds. In VR the destruction is happening at a distance, make it less gratifying and less clear. After a few weeks of the same reaction we pulled it.

Nxucik: This is one of the games that I would want just because of the name alone. If I put Angry Birds on my website, then that name recognition alone will help to bring people in. Same is true for Beat Saber, Job Simulator, Fruit Ninja, and SUPERHOT. The same would be true if we could also get FNAF. Since we mostly pay per minute, I'm not worried by games that only hold attention for five or less minutes. As long as the per minute cost is low and it isn't a massive hog of storage space, I'll offer it if it brings folks in.

Craig Carpenter: Presumably Springboard gets developers to sign on by claiming there's financial gain to be made. If they try to sign up a developer to offer a game that's not going to be earning much it could hinder later efforts with that company.
I get where you're coming from because I had the same logic in getting the game on Steam for $15/mo. Only had it on one station at the start but before I even tried the game I placed it on a poster for our window. Three weeks later I removed the game. The title drew a little attention but having a sign with Job Simulator, Beat Saber, Richie's Plank and Superhot draws far more kids.

I've experimented with Angry Birds using the Steam License for a month... even though plenty of customers came in and saw the sign for the game and went "Ooooh look!" in delight, only one person has actually played it. There's just far better games available to play, competition for customers' attention with games is heating up :)
Compared to Fruit Ninja which gets the same reaction but is far more popular and fills that niche for easy-as-possible gaming, I'm going to be dropping Angry Birds from my menu.

I hope SB can pull this off before the school holidays. We will market the crap out of this if it lands on SB :)

Dang, beat me to it. I had no clue they were even working on this but I really hope they bring it to SBVR.
